With WatchDog you can monitor the following

  • Website visited - you can enable/disable logging this information in this screen.
  • Start and end times of programs, amount specific programs were run. - you can enable/disable logging this information in this screen
  • All keystrokes - you can enable/disable logging this information in this screen
  • What the user sees by setting WatchDog to regularly capture a screenshot every x minutes. - you can configure it in this screen

Viewing Logged Information

All log files are located in C:\Program Files\WatchDog\logs folder. You can either view them manually by opening each of the files using Notepad, or use WatchDog for viewing them. In WatchDog, you can access log files of a specific user by following these steps:

  1. Log in with a parent account
  2. Double-click on the WatchDog icon in the System Tray (bottom-right corner of the screen)
  3. At the bottom of the left navigation bar, click on Logs.
  4. In the left navigation bar, click on Log Files.

Note that you can use the left navigation bar to view the Session Reports, Screenshots, Overal Reports based on criteria you specify.
