You can access this screen by following these steps:
- Log in with a parent account
- Double-click on the WatchDog icon in the System Tray (bottom-right corner of the screen)
- Double-click on the user or group account you wish to modify
- In the left navigation bar, click on Time

Allowed Time
- Daily, Weekly, Monthly - Time available is refreshed once a day, week or month.
- Unlimited - User has unlimited time.
- One Time - User only has the time available once.
Delete user after time runs out (One Time users only)
Once the user has run out of time, the user is deleted.
Carry over unused time
If the user has any free time at the end of their session, it will be added to the next period.
- Limit maximum time available to - WatchDog will not allow the user to have more than the specified free time (in minutes) when their session begins.
Extra minutes on ____ .
Only applies to Daily users. They can get the specified number of of minutes extra on Weekdays, Weekends, or choose the days. Weekend is defined as Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Extra minutes at the end of the session if the user chooses
This option allows for a bit of leniency when it comes to time limits. If you enable it, it will allow the user to use a couple extra minutes after they have run out of time. However, they can only use this option once per session. You can specify the amount of extra minutes they will receive.
- Subtract amount from user’s next period - If selected, WatchDog will subtract any extra minutes used from their next period. For example, if their normal time per day was set to 2 hours and they used the Generous mode for a total of 10 minutes, WatchDog would only allow them 1 hour 50 minutes the next day.
Maximum time (min) per period
Sets the maximum time (in minutes) they can use in one session. Once they pass that time, they will be logged out.
Minimum time (min) between periods
Sets the amount of time (in minutes) they have to wait after logging out before they can log back in.
