1. Log in with a parent account
  2. Double-click on the WatchDog icon in the “System Tray” (bottom-right corner of the screen)
  3. In the left navigation bar, click on “Options”
  4. In the left navigation bar of the window that comes up, click on “Security”
  5. Open the “Atomic Clock Synchronization” tab

  • Enable atomic clock synchronization
    WatchDog will connect to an internet atomic-clock server to synchronize the computer’s time. Several governmental and military agencies provide this service. For a complete list of public atomic clock servers, head to: Public NTP Secondary Time Servers WatchDog will synchronize the time every
    whenever it is launched on Windows startup.
  • Also synchronize every ___ minutes
    WatchDog will also attempt to synchronize the clock every few minutes.
  • Require synchronization to log in (non-Parents only)
    WatchDog will not let users log in until synchronization is complete. Parent users will always be allowed to log in.
  • Synchronize only when dial-up connection established
    WatchDog will only attempt to synchronize if there is an established dial-up connection. Do not enable this if you are using cable modems/DSL/Ethernet to connect to the internet.

You can add and remove servers from the list and also set your preferred server.
